EBAC Health Center & Services
East Bay Agency for Children operates the Frick School Health & Wellness Center in East Oakland in partnership with Native American Health Center. The Frick School Health & Wellness Center is a community resource for convenient, high-quality health services for students and families of Frick Middle School and the surrounding community.
Services are provided at no cost and the health center serves everyone, no-one is turned away.
Services are available for children, teens, and adults. Native American Health Center provides doctors and nurses, and dental services are provided by licensed dentists. The Frick School Health & Wellness Center can even serve clients whose primary care physicians are not at the Frick clinic.
Medical Services
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
- First aid for minor injuries
- Physical exams (general, sports, pre-employment)
- Immunizations
- Confidential reproductive health services
- Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs & HIV)
- Scoliosis exams
- Medi-Cal, HealthPac and other enrollment assistance
- Referrals to other health providers and professionals

Family Resource Center
Coming soon, the Frick Health and Wellness Center will be adding a Family Resource Center to our services.
In Partnership with East Bay Agency for Children, the Family Resource Center will offer a variety of public benefits and support services in a convenient and inviting space for families to receive assistance in accessing available services.
The services will include:
- Healthcare insurance
- Medi-Cal and Denti-Cal enrollment
- Application assistance for CalFresh
- Information and referrals for child support, housing, mental health services, and case management.
